Hi everyone..I am new here .I have been suffering from OCD and anxiety...due to OCD, all the bad things which occured to me in the past keep occuring again and that causes anxiety ...
I wonder if there is any feature to directly message someone here via telegram (as it is anonymous) and then meetup..?.bcoz just sharing anonymous post and comments won't be much useful ..I guess there needs to be added feature of DM or people allowed to meetups..isn't it .?

Hey @Aron ,
Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling. Thank you for your feedback.
As you rightly mentioned, the forums here are anonymous. I can see where you are coming from in that you want to meet up. However, there is power with anonymity in that people can share without judgment. It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, your story is your story.
I personally believe there are so many platforms out there which offer the ability to meet up and DM others, that perhaps an anonymous platform isn't the space for it?
Members who come and stay on a forums like this do so because:
- they can seek ongoing connection with people about topics of interest or similar experiences
- they can connect from anywhere in Australia
- they can find like-minded forum members who they can connect with 24/7
- they want to have their anonymity protected
- they find value in developing a sense of beloning on an anonymous platform
And for many other reasons.
I know that I personally first started connecting on these forums many years ago, and if it was not anonymous, I wouldn't have freely shared due to my then employment and status. I could not afford to be identified.
I hope this gives a bit of insight as to why these forums remain anonymous.
We would love for you to connect with us, but we totally respect if you feel this is not what you are looking for at this time.
