Re: Taking the plunge

Brain is super amazing @Maggie ❤ I try and go to 'curiosity' when something that's happening inside feels off or scary or unsettling, but it isn't always easy to do. Learning how to use coping mechanisms in ways that help - that's wise.

Yay for mobile data! Personally I'm stoked to hear 😉😆 We are chewing through internet now and will probably look into different plan soon. Reliable internet here is need not want too.

Pitter patter of feet asking for toast so I better go. Thinking of you lots and often 💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @CheerBear  ... good morning to you too.  And @Maggie  😊🌼💕

First day in a week that I am not being half suffocated with thick smoke.  A breezy start to the day has cleared it somewhat.  Nice to breathe half fresh air again.  Things are not great here.  Big fight with hubby last night.  Whats new you ask?  Probably the only thing different is that my own MH is not great either, so I react ... when I shouldnt.  Saw my GP yesterday.  He was sooo nice.  Had a really good chat with him ... about a lot of things going on.  Including all thats happening with my Dad, my brother and my husband.  I'm relieved that I now have a couple of chronic health condition GP Care Plan sessions that I can use for the rest of the year to use with my psych.  I used up all my MHCP 10 sessions about 6 weeks ago.  The GP Care Plan chronic health conditions only pay $55 or there abouts, but it all helps.  Certainly better than paying full price. Although my psych does give me discounted rates when my MHCP sessions run out each year.  So thats a relief.  Also got a couple of specialist referrals from my GP, one for a dermatologist because of previous skin cancer, and one for an eye specialist given my ongoing eye problems this year.  Likely to be at least 8 months before I can get in to see a local dermatologist so he says.  Opthlamologist should be sooner. Not sure he can do much about my eye issues, but GP says its worth checking to see whats going on and why. He also ordered some blood tests to check a number of things, so I did that on my way out.  Saves having to go back into town.

My stress and anxiety levels are still very high, and I constantly feel like sh**. Not just due to the fire situation we've been enduring here for the past 10 days, there are other factors at play too. But despite all that ... I'm still here.  My GP sympathetically said "you are juggling a lot of balls, and doing amazingly well considering everything".  I told him (in tears) "yeah and I'm constantly dropping those balls".  I dont know ... everyone says "you are stronger than you think".  Perhaps I am .. but it sure doesnt feel like it.

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning everyone

@Former-Member feeling with you with everything you juggle and everything it feels like you're not juggling well. There's only so much any of us can cope with before we start dropping things and you have a lot of worries and stressors to try and cope with. Hearing you and sending you hugs and thoughts Sherry ❤

@Maggie last day now and one more sleep. I'm wondering how that's feeling today and how you spent your yesterday, but understanding if you'd prefer not to/can't share. Cuppa if you'd like 💜

Waving hi to Shaz51, outlander, Gazza75, Dec, thevorticon, etc and all 👋

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @CheerBear  💕💕💕

I spent Yesterday cleaning, then kind of friend helped move a few boxes to my new flat.

One more sleep.

How did your pj day go, and the games?

Had my first cuppa at 2am second coming up.

@outlander @Former-Member @Shaz51 @TheVorticon  👋👋👋💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

2am cup maybe says a bit @Maggie. You'd almost be running on adrenaline now I'd imagine.

Is anyone going with you to the appointment tomorrow? Tricky maybe with the move happening at the same time.

Great day yesterday thanks I slept a bit of it too. The week caught up with me so it's been good to have some rest.

How's today looking for you? More of the same as yesterday perhaps..

@outlander morning to you ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

Tricky ok @CheerBear  my counsellor would normally come to the appointment with me, but she’s doing the move, so I’m on my own there. I will take notes with me, as I get blank with this stuff.

I’m pleased you caught up with some sleep yesterday as well as enjoyed the games. It’s been a massive week. But hey, you did it. 👍👍👍👍👍

Yea, more of the same here today. Most cleaning done though. Last minute pack up. My painting ladies had high hopes of some painting happening, but I just couldn’t think about it. I’m definitely pumping adrenaline now.
