@Shaz51 she did respite and liked it so looking into permanent care. As always, everything just takes a long time to get sorted out.
So for now she is still with us. She can't live by herself. Struggles with everyday things.
@AuntGlow she has Dementia so I can only see things getting worse from here. She'll loose her sh*t again, blame it on me, tell me off, and then 24hrs later apologise.
I done it, tried LL, tried prn, not much point now

This is so hard. I can see that on one hand, you love your mum so much. But on the other, her mental health is severely impacting you... I am sure you have shared this before, but just so I know, what supports do you have? And what have you been doing to care for yourself? @Snowie 💛

Thanks @tyme
@AuntGlow It's only me. I have a brother but he is useless. Maybe sees her once a month if that.
I do love her but I don't like the person she is becoming (I know that's not nice to say)
I'm not sure if you mean my supports or supports in place for mum.
I have a psych and a pdoc. Had them for awhile now.
Mum did have some supports but she cancelled them. Didn't want them. Tried to get her to see a psych but won't. Waiting for my aged care to approve her for next level of care. But knowing her, she won't accept it anyway. Just left up to me.
To care for myself, I haven't done anything. I just feel like I'm in 'lets just get through the hour'

Guess it was better than nothing
Thanks

We are sitting with you, if this helps you get through hour by hour. I feel how tough the situation is for you at the moment. @Snowie
Hugs.
Have you seen your kids much? Any special cooking you've done?
