Hey there @-wanderour-
It sounds like you're really relating to the loneliness that @Coco-star is also feeling!
Moving can already be a big adjustment on its own, but trying to make sense and cope with a loss of friendship can make that transition infinitely harder. It's not only physically isolating, but it's also emotionally isolating, when it feels like there's no one that you can share every day news with.
You're both certainly not alone, a recent study actually shared that up to 40% of Young Australians feel loneliness 🙁 It can feel grim and sad, but you're both here, and trying to reach out, which is a really important first step to take!
If you're both keen to have a look, there are actually some great suggestions on the Lifeline website that might be worth a look:
It's okay to take your time and to do little bits at a time, if it feels like putting yourselves out there can be overwhelming. Ensuring that you feel safe in your interactions is most important after all, so that you can be motivated to keep building social connections around you 🌸
Sending you both some extra kindness!
